When packing to go on your holidays, what you plan to take versus what actually comes with you doesn't always marry up.
A military-style operation where no single passenger takes more than they need is generally the drill in my house, until thoughts of "just in case" spring to mind and any available space in the suitcase is unceremoniously stuffed with random items.

Available at a great value price of £14.98 all year round, I was sent the Jsdoin 9-Piece Packing Cube Set to have a play with, and although I'm not going away until next month, I'm already pretty obsessed.
Arriving all packed away in a small plastic bag, I initially thought that this was the wrong order. But once opened, the largest cube revealed a range of neatly folded cubes and bags tucked away inside.
The packing cube set came in a neutral and on-trend grey colour, with a jolly little slogan about a happy life printed on some, but accordingly, to Amazon, it is also available in a black or beige colourway.
The set contains:
- 3 travel packing cubes with see-through mesh tops
- 1 private cube for bras and underwear,
- 1 travel shoe bag,
- 1 toiletry bag,
- 1 toothbrush cup,
- 1 laundry bag for dirty clothes and
- 1 flat bag for small items, like socks, electronic accessories or keys
Made from nylon fabric, the cubes do feel a little cheaply made, but on the whole, they look sturdy enough to do the job.
The zippers roll smoothly around the openings and the mesh tops are super useful as they let you see what's inside without having to open and unpack it all.
The shoe holder is only big enough for one pair of shoes, and not a particular big pair I'd imagine, but the wash bag, makeup bag and toiletry bag are brilliant little bonus items and a great idea for when you don't want to take you full kit away with you.
