It’s official: Victoria Beckham x Gap has landed, and pieces are already selling out despite launching just this morning. Since the collection went live, several of the most anticipated buys – including the white logo T-shirt – have sold out or are running low, which says plenty about the appetite for Beckham’s latest high street collaboration.
Arriving two years after her much-hyped Mango capsule, this new drop takes a more everyday approach, translating Victoria Beckham’s polished, pared-back aesthetic into wearable staples rather than occasion pieces. Think: elevated denim, sharp-but-relaxed tailoring, cinched outerwear and easy separates that feel true to both brands. Priced between £25 and £250, you’ll find the Gap affordability you’ve come to know among the simpler pieces, with some investment pieces too (think jackets and dresses).

Having had an early preview of the collection and trying on some of the hero pieces, I can see why shoppers are moving quickly. Better still, this is the first of several seasonal drops – but if the speed of early sell-outs is anything to go by, these styles won’t hang around. Here’s what I recommend.

Victoria Beckham x Gap shorts
Bermuda-style shorts can be a little marmite, but this pair from the Victoria Beckham x Gap collection could sway the undecided. The long-line shorts fall just above my knee, though would be longer on shorter people (I’m 6ft for reference). Complete with smart chino-style pleating detail, the high waistband features an asymmetrical belt that creates flattering definition.
There are practical pockets and the leg is relaxed and loose for a comfortable fit. The shorts are easily styled with any of the T-shirts from the collection, or the denim jackets.
At the time of writing, just one size is left of these elevated shorts, so fingers crossed you fit the bill.

No spring capsule is complete without a trench coat. This Victoria Beckham x Gap style has a premium, luxurious feel. Double lined and weighty, the eighties-inspired silhouette features exaggerated shoulders and plenty of expensive details.
Complete with tortoiseshell buttons, adjustable cuff straps, epaulettes and storm flaps, there are two large front pockets. Come rain or shine, this coat can be thrown on with any spring outfit to instantly elevate your look.

Another simple design that’s surprisingly flattering, this utility jumpsuit is finished in a navy with a zip-up front. The legs are cut into a subtle barrel silhouette and are super long – even on my 6ft frame. The waist is cinched while the short sleeves are loose and airy. Complete with a spread collar, you can wear it fully zipped up or more relaxed.
The jumpsuit is designed to be form-fitting around the body, and baggier in the leg – I tried a medium, but could have done with a small for a tighter fit. An easy throw-on-and-go outfit, contrast the androgynous utility style with ballet flats or kitten heels.

Victoria Beckham x Gap utility mini dress
Utility-style fashion has been slowly creeping back into the fashion agenda, from Fight For This Love-esque military jackets to the khaki army jackets you wore circa 2012. This Victoria Beckham x Gap dress is a more feminine take. Featuring a mini hemline and belt to cinch in your waist, there are popper fastenings down the front and four pockets.
The cotton blend fabric is crisp and is sure to keep its shape well throughout the day. With its smart feel, you could style it with loafers and white socks for the office – or pair with trainers for a laidback weekend look. It’s a style that doesn’t immediately jump out to you as being a Victoria Beckham design, but it’s an everyday take on the ulility-style midi dresses from her eponymous label – and a fraction of the price.

Victoria Beckham x Gap grey T-shirt
Gap has been synonymous with T-shirts since the creation of its ‘perfect tee’ in the eighties. So it’s only natural a T-shirt features in the Victoria Beckham collab. Crafted from cotton for a lightweight and relaxed feel, I tried the grey crew neck style in a size small. It’s the perfect cut for loosely tucking into bottoms, falling at a flattering height on the hips.
The grey finish goes with everything, whether paired with the collection’s Bermuda shorts or khaki cargos. Adding recognisable detailing, the Gap logo sits on the left chest with Victoria Beckham written in smaller font beneath – though the latter logo is near-invisible. This light touch might be characteristic of VB’s own label, but could be disappointing for fans hoping for something a little more interesting.
This item is selling at the speed of light, with the white iteration now sold out entirely. If you’re mulling things over, now’s the time to act.

Victoria Beckham x Gap denim zip up
This denim zip up is a transitional staple. It’s got the silhouette of a shirt but the weight and warmth of a lightweight jacket. Characterised by western detailing, I love the embroidered front panelling and pointed spread collar.
The zip fastening offers extra versatility when it comes to styling – I’ll be wearing with a white t-shirt beneath and matching white jeans. A great layer for spring’s in-between climate, it feels a more laidback than we’re used to seeing from VB.
Sizes of this piece are selling out thick and fast, so I’d hurry to avoid disappointment.

Victoria Beckham x Gap white jumper maxi dress
I didn’t have high hopes for this maxi jumper dress – but I should have had more faith in Victoria Beckham’s dress making skills. For such a simple design, the dress is super flattering. It skims your figure, and is neither too tight or too loose. The Noughties-inspired racer-style neckline creates a flattering silhouette.
Beyond the on-point cut, the only other detail is some embroidery across the shoulders. Comfortable and relaxed, it can be dressed up or down for various occasions. Again, it’s not the most interesting of designs, but the attention paid to the fit and fabric shines through.

Is Victoria Beckham x Gap worth it?
Don’t browse the Gap collection expecting Victoria Beckham tailoring – her latest high street collaboration is all about effortless, everyday style. The pieces I tried all fitted exceptionally well, with quality fabrics to carry you through the spring season, albeit at higher prices than Gap’s core line. If I had to choose three things to buy from the collection, it would be the jumpsuit, T-shirt and the sculptural white trousers. The multi season collaboration is set to continue and I can’t wait to see what VB does next.
