Boohoo are best known for their dozens of new and on trend styles uploaded to the site each day. But now, fashion lovers can also get their beauty fix with the online retailer.
Last month, Boohoo released its first ever beauty range, with 50 vegan and cruelty free products starting from just £3. The line sees millennial pink packaging paired with affordable prices to offer an on-trend and must-have cosmetics collection - with some said to be dupes of higher end brands.

Boohoo beauty offers products for brows, lips, eyes and face, with options for ‘all complexions and skin tones’ - including a 36-shade eyeshadow palette, shimmery setting sprays and liquid blush. I tried out some of the collection, including brow, contouring, lip and eye products - and this is what I thought when I went to try a full face of Boohoo makeup.
Contour stick
Boohoo don’t seem to have extended their beauty range to concealer and foundation yet. So, having used some products from my everyday makeup bag, I went in with the Boohoo beauty buildable and blendable contour stick.
The £8 stick offers a great amount of product, and comes in two shades. I applied the lighter shade to the hollows of my cheeks and used it to define some of my bone structure around my face. The formula is super creamy and glides on like a dream, and blends well with a damp beauty blender or stipple brush.
Liquid to powder blush
The Boohoo beauty liquid to powder blush comes in five shades and is priced at £6. It comes in a recyclable tube, and is said to be a dupe for the £29 liquid blush from luxury beauty brand Charlotte Tilbury.
I accidentally squeezed far too much product onto my beauty blender upon opening, but was able to apply a sufficient amount to my cheeks. For me, the pink shade was a bit bright and I’d typically go for the shade ‘rose’ or ‘peach’. The liquid to powder formula means you do have to work quite quickly to blend it, but the results are beautiful.
The blush even has a slight shimmer to it, for those who love to look glowing.
Highlighter stick
If you’re looking for a little more shimmer, you’ll adore the Boohoo beauty highlighter stick. Coming in at £8, the highlighter comes in bronze and champagne. I used the bronze shade, which works well on the cheekbones and isn’t too dark on my pale skin.
The stick can be used to accentuate the highlights of the face, but can also be used as a cream eyeshadow for a subtle, shimmery look.
Brow bundle
I’m a big fan of a bold brow, and this £14 bundle features everything I needed to create a strong, defined look.
The bundle includes a brow soap, brush and pencil for two-step brow perfection. I used the brush to apply the clear soap to my hairs, brushing them upwards for my desired look, before filling them in with the brown brow pencil
People who have their brows laminated will love the soap and brush for taming their look, while the pencil fills in any gaps to make them look thicker and fuller.
Nine shade eyeshadow palette
I don’t tend to wear a lot of eyeshadow - but do enjoy a neutral look from time to time. This nine-shade palette from the range is £8, making each shade less than a quid each.
The colours are mostly pinks and browns, with a few shimmer shades to glam up a look, taking it effortlessly from day to night.
It’s got a good range of mattes and shimmers, with colours that compliment each other well. It’s not as blendable as other palettes I’ve used, but it’s very handy for travelling as it also has a compact mirror.
Lip bundle
Boohoo have also launched a complete lip bundle, starring a lip liner, lipstick and gloss for £14.
I wore the pale nude collection, which sees a slightly darker nude lip liner with a ‘Mac honey love’-esque lippy for a 90s vibe.
But the product I loved the most was the gloss. Also offering a touch of the oh-so-trendy 90s aesthetic, this gloss felt really hydrating on my lips and wasn’t sticky and tacky like a lot of glosses on the market.
In fact, I’ve added it to my everyday makeup bag and will be slapping it on all spring/summer 2022.
