Bryson DeChambeau remains positive about the future of LIV Golf as he teased there was "something fun coming" as the curtain came down on the 2026 season.
There are some aspects of LIV Golf 2.0 we know about from Scott O'Neil, but still plenty of unanswered questions after LIV Golf Indianapolis ended the current season.
Nobody is quite sure if Indianapolis was the final LIV event ever, as O'Neil admits he's on a deadline to secure the deal with a potential new investor by getting enough players fully committed for 2027 and beyond.
DeChambeau pleaded for "one more shot" ahead of the Indianapolis event, and after chasing home Michael La Sasso he suggested that LIV 2.0 was indeed on the horizon.
The two-time US Open champion's LIV contract expires after the season but he's always sounded positive about continuing to lead the team golf tour in it's new format.
And his comments on Sunday suggested he's confident LIV Golf will be back in 2027 and beyond.
"I think there's a lot of potential moving forward," said DeChambeau. "It's been an interesting ride, that's for sure. You know everything that we've gone through and the tough moments that we've had. But it's made us stronger."
DeChambeau has his thoughts for how LIV 2.0 will work out next year, but did not expand on them as he instead spoke about the highs and lows of the tour so far.
"As much as we're transitioning from LIV 1.0 to 2.0, I have great thoughts about what could happen next year," he added. "I wish I could be more up front about it.
"But ultimately I'm proud of the fact of what we've done, the good and some of the bad that we've unfortunately had, things that have occurred.
"I'm going to be real with it; not everything was perfect. But for the most part we've done a solid job. If there's one thing that I could say, it's we did something different in the game of golf, and I'm proud of that."
Speaking to Jerry Foltz on the LIV broadcast, DeChambeau signed off by teasing: "I think there's something fun coming."
