‘I think he stole your groceries’: Mom orders from Walmart+. She sees that shopper is a man and expects mistakes—she hates that she was right

A mom of two kids under two years old tries to save time by ordering grocery delivery through Walmart+. However, she notices that the worker who will shop for and deliver her order is a man, which makes her doubt that the order will be fulfilled correctly.

In a video with over 398,000 views, TikToker Cheetahgorl737 (@cheetahgorl737) stands in her kitchen with the groceries that she recieved.

“Usually when I see that [the driver] is a guy, I know something is probably not going to be right,” she says.

She turns the camera around to show a Walmart shopping basket sitting on her kitchen counter and shows just how wrong the order turned out.

Was the Walmart delivery all wrong?

First, she remarks that the delivery drivers usually don’t bring the shopping basket along with them.

“So now I have a Walmart basket, thanks, dude,” she jokes.

Then she notices that the baby formula is still inside the anti-theft case. Without a key, there’s no way for her to unlock it at home.

In a short follow-up video, she posts Ring camera footage from her front porch. She bashes the anti-theft case on the side of her porch, breaking it open to access the baby formula.

The TikToker also orders lettuce, but is shocked when she sees a cabbage instead.

“But it beats having to go to the store myself, so I’m not going to complain,” she says, defeated.

Are other shoppers wary of male delivery drivers?

On the subreddit r/GenXWomen, other shoppers complain that they frequently have to help male delivery drivers locate their requested items in stores. Often, the driver is unable to find what they ordered and replaces the item with an inadequate alternative.

“The other day, one guy couldn’t find my potato chips, and when I told him they surely wouldn’t be out of those, he sent me a photo of the POPCORN SHELF! And texted ‘see, they’re out of them,'” one shares.

“I schedule weekday early morning deliveries now. 90% chance of a Mom working while her kids are in school and it’s always perfect. They have the expertise! I tip them huge. The guys bring rotten tomatoes and steal snacks lol,” another writes.

Commenters on the TikToker’s video agree, sharing their thoughts on what went wrong with her grocery order.

“I think he stole your groceries,” one remarks after seeing the incorrect items.

“If you do express delivery (anything under 3 hours), you get the delivery driver as your shopper. If you plan ahead and order in the morning for an afternoon delivery or the night before for a morning delivery or whatever, the store shops for you and everything is perfect every time,” a second suggests.

Others share their own experience with Walmart delivery.

“Walmart plus— I ordered two spaghetti squash and I got two lemons and one of my protein drinks was an empty bottle,” a commenter writes.

“Same, my deodorant was locked up too,” another says.
