NSW players insist Laurie Daley should not shoulder the blame of the Blues' State of Origin capitulation, with the coach adamant he is the right man to lead again in 2026.

Daley's return to the coach's box ended in bitter disappointment on Wednesday night, with the Blues mentor falling to his fifth series loss in six attempts.
