Leeds United head coach Javi Gracia has revealed his side are going to be treating their game against Liverpool like a cup final.
The Whites welcome Jurgen Klopp’s side to Elland Road on Monday night as they look to return to winning ways. Gracia’s side were thumped 5-1 by Crystal Palace last time out.
Leeds now have eight games remaining to avoid relegation to the Championship, and Gracia admits while it isn't one, his side have no choice but treat Monday’s game like a cup final given their need for points to avoid the drop.

He said: “For us it’s crucial, it is vital in this game. This is something we have to take and try to give everything in this game.
“It’s not a final because we have to play eight games but we have to live it like a final knowing it will be a very demanding game but we have to give our 100 percent.”
The Reds arrive at Elland Road having played out an entertaining draw with Arsenal last time out. And even though Klopp’s side have struggled for form this season, Gracia has warned his side that they are set for a 'difficult' game against a 'very dangerous' team.
He said: “We know how difficult it will be this game against Liverpool because they are a very good team.
“I said before in this moment we have no time to think about if it's better or worse to play now against this team. We have to play, give our best and try to get the points.”
Before he added: “Very dangerous. A very good team. Very well organised. They know perfectly the way they play and it’s hard to play against them.
“But in this moment the importance of the games left is crucial for us and then we don't pay attention if we play against one team or not and pay attention to the importance of the points.”
