Former Rangers midfielder Alex Rae has said he finds the current situation with Nico Raskin "strange."
The Belgium international did not travel to Czechia for the midweek European game against Jablonec, with manager Derek McInnes revealing it was due to a "possible transfer."
Rangers went on to crash out without a key player, with McInnes then saying no offer had actually been received.
Raskin sat out once again as the Ibrox side edged a 1-0 victory over Aberdeen.
Rae is a bit confused about the whole thing and finding it hard to fathom why the 25-year-old did not play in two important games.

“It’s a strange situation, I’m not exactly sure where it all plays out.
“I don’t know if Nico wants to pursue… have the club offered him a new contract, tried to make him stay?
“It’s a bit unclear, but when you’ve got one of your best midfielders and you’re getting knocked out of Europe then questions have to be asked, what is the strategy behind this?
“Three days time, if he still remains in the building then you’re thinking ‘well why did he not play on Thursday in such an important game?’
“And then obviously missed out today, albeit they won.”
