I have friends staying with me over the Christmas period, and I recently realised I still do not have a sofa bed that can comfortably accommodate them. For a moment, I thought I had left it far too late. Most of the designs I love take up to twelve weeks to arrive, and even the supposedly quick delivery options seem to be scheduled for January. I had almost resigned myself to bringing out an inflatable mattress on Christmas Eve.
When I began researching the best sleeper sofas, I discovered that all the beautiful styles I had my heart set on, including the Rowen and Wren Sofa Bed that I have been admiring for months, will not be ready in time for the festive season. Sigh. If you want one before the holiday period, you have to look for pieces that are currently in stock. To my relief, some genuinely attractive options can be delivered well before Christmas.
