I live in New York City, which in July might as well be a ghost town. Everyone’s abroad in some far-flung locale or has retreated ‘out East,’ where they’ll remain until Labor Day. I may not be getting to the Hamptons anytime soon, but I did spot an outdoor rattan chair in Serena & Lily’s sale section that looks like it belongs there – 53% off, no less.
The chair in question? A woven outdoor furniture gem that would look right at home in the garden of a hydrangea-lined home with its own beach access – or perched at one of those day clubs charging $150 for chicken tenders and fries (which is actually only a fraction less than this chair costs).
