I may be playing a mom on screen, but in real life, I am yet to go on my honeymoon with Neil: Aishwarya Sharma

Aishwarya Sharma, who is currently playing the role of Patralekha in Ghum Hai Kisike Pyaar Mein, is playing a mother to a 10-year-old son in the show post the leap. The actress has no qualms about playing a mom on screen.

She says, "When I did Meri Durga before Ghum Hai Kisike Pyaar Mein, I was not willing to play mom on screen. The leap happened suddenly on Meri Durga and I felt it was best to quit the show. But, Ghum... has a great storyline and after a proper love story and conflict between the two actors, things have progressed further. Virat (Neil Bhatt) and my character Patralekha's marriage is quite organic on the show and that's why if after a leap they wanted me to play a mom to an adopted son, I had no problems. The story is interesting and there is much more to explore. I like the way Patralekha's character has progressed from being a woman madly in love with Virat to now a mature wife and mother."
