Anyone who has tried to book a holiday post-covid knows that prices have skyrocketed, as companies seemingly try to claw back months of revenue they missed when we were all sitting at home binge watching The Tiger King rather than going out to see the world.
While travel companies are promising Black Friday deals on package holidays, flights and more, there’s a small cynical part of me that thinks even reduced prices will end up being more expensive than anything we’ve paid before - and I’m looking at ways to save money to offset those rises.
My biggest travel tip for bagging Black Friday travel deals is something that I learned by accident as we prepared to go on holiday to America this summer. We’d originally been booked to go to Florida in May 2020 and then when that was cancelled made plans to go back in 2021, which were cancelled again because the US still hadn’t opened to foreign visitors.
