The UK's biggest Disney fan loves the parks so much that she got engaged in the Magic Kingdom - twice!
Kathryn Chung was crowned the brand's biggest fan in a @disneyparksuk competition, having battled her way to glory in a 10-day tournament against ten other mega enthusiasts.
In doing so the 32-year-old went from submitting a 60-second video explaining the level of her passion to competing in challenges during a 10-day "holiday of a lifetime" to Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World, Florida, and on the Disney Wish cruise ship.
She proved her mettle over the other nine contestants not only by coming out on top in the challenges - which saw Kathryn nail a quiz where she had to guess the release dates of Disney films - but by making it clear quite how much she loves the brand.
The depth of this love is made clear by Kathryn's job as a design and technical manager, which she has pursued as a career path in the hope of becoming a Disney Imagineer.
It's also very evident when she speaks about her long relationships with the parks, which began when she was five and have provided her "happiest memories with my family and my partner".
Her first holiday to the park with now-husband Richard was in 2016 when they visited the California Disneyland.
"He loved it and I loved being able to share my love of Disney with him, it was incredible, it was so special," Kathryn told The Mirror.
Since this first trip the duo went to Disneyland Paris and then Disney World together, where Richard would get into the spirit of things and propose.
"He proposed there, in front of the castle," Kathryn said. "Wishes really do come true. Dreams come true, but you have to believe. It is the Disney magic. Now I've got a baby bump as well."
Later in the week following the proposal the couple were taking engagement photos together when an official park photographer approached them and offered his services.
The snapper - who would later link up with the pair following Kathryn's victory in the competition - suggested that Richard get down on one knee a second time.
"He ended up getting Richard to re-propose during the parade, in front of all the guests on two sides of Mainstreet," Kathryn said. "I had everyone cheering, it was amazing."
All of the emotions Kathryn felt that day came flooding back when she was crowned the UK's biggest Disney fan earlier this month.
She said: "I got really emotional when the announcement happened and Mickey came over, I thought 'you've been all my life throughout all these key moments from first holiday to proposals, to baby bump'. It's all been so magical."
The magic was really dialled up a notch or two following Kathryn's victory, when she was treated to something most Disney fans can only dream of - a night in the Cinderella Castle suite, which is invite-only.
"Having that stay in the Cinderella Castle was mind-blowing, I have always dreamt of staying there," Kathryn said.
"It was out of this world and super super rare. When they say once in a lifetime it really is. You can't buy the experience. You have to win a competition or get invited. It is like a fairy-tale room, but in reality. In 3D. You can touch the bed and the detail."
Access to the suite is granted through a secret door beneath the archway of the castle in the Magic Kingdom, which is always locked tight except for when a special visitor arrives.
Kathryn and her husband Richard approached the door and it swung open for them, revealing a room crafted lovingly by the Disney Imagineers and packed full of Easter eggs.
One of the first things the design and technical manager noticed was an old antique clock stuck at one minute to midnight in a nod to the Cinderella story.
As well as an ornamental glass slipper presumably belonging to the urchin-turned-princess herself, a crystal shoe with an engraving of the day's date was left waiting for Kathryn.
Despite her dinky size three feet, the Disney fan was unable to squeeze into it.
"On the structural columns, on the top of the details have the sculptures of Cinderella and the little mice," Kathryn continued.
"You can see Jack Jack and Gus dotted around the room hidden. There's these beautiful mosaics surround the jacuzzi, within it you can see the glass slipper in front of the castle.
"There are little books that have fairy tales in as well, and lots of little gifts other characters have gifted Cinderella, including books from Belle and a telescope.
"You are just captivated by it all. Cinderella has allowed me to stay in her room."
