'I'm sorry' - Djed Spence sent Tottenham messages after drastic step

Former Nottingham Forest loanee Djed Spence is being urged to stay by Tottenham Hotspur supporters after removing all references to the club from his Instagram account.

The 22-year-old has made just four appearances for Spurs since signing this summer and has recently removed all but one post from his account on the social media platform, with the only remaining photos published after an England under-21s match earlier this summer before signing for the club.

Spence has yet to start a single match under current head coach Antonio Conte with Emerson Royal playing the majority of minutes at right-back and Matt Doherty also ahead of the player in the pecking order. Here is a selection of the recent social media reaction in the comments underneath the player's sole post from Tottenham fans showing their support for their player.
