I'm a Celebrity winner as Jill Scott crowned Queen of the Jungle

After a dramatic three weeks, I'm a Celebrity has now come to an end for 2022, with Jill Scott the winner for this year.

It's been quite the journey, with laughter, tears and controversy along the way. After returning to the Australian outback for the first time since 2019, I'm a Celeb was back with its iconic bushtucker trials, snakes, spiders, and even a pesky scorpion.

Before he even entered the camp, Matt Hancock's addition to the jungle hit headlines as he was forced to resign during the pandemic after breaking his own social distancing rules. The West Suffolk MP was voted to endure the first few trials, managing to impress viewers and make sure his campmates were fed.

But while the former health secretary was initially favourite to be evicted first, he, along with Lioness Jill Scott and Hollyoaks star Owen Warner, managed to make it all the way to the final. Mike Tindall just missed out, having been eliminated on Saturday night after taking part in the epic Celebrity Cyclone.

Jill was the bookies' favourite to win before the show even got underway, and has shown herself to be a kind, caring and hilarious campmate throughout the series. The only woman left standing was voted viewers' winner.

Before the final episode got underway, bookmakers had odds of around 1/5 for Jill to be crowned Queen.
