Ant and Dec have come under criticism after Matt Hancock arrival to the I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. Viewers who are not happy about the former Health Secretary's inclusion in the programme have rounded on the presenters.
It has been reported that crew members are planning to add extra bugs to any trials he is picked to do, but some fans say that the presenting duo finding Mr Hancock's antics funny "feels wrong". And tearful campmate Boy George has threatened to quit the shock after the shock arrival. Read more about that here
Julia Raeside spoke for many when she said on Twitter: "I think Matt Hancock actually breaks the format. Because Ant & Dec are supposed to be us. Them finding this a bit of a hoot feels all wrong. There are a lot of angry people with dead relatives not finding this funny."

Elaine Davison agreed saying: "I don’t find it in the least bit funny or entertaining." Paul Burnett said: "Sickening seeing Matt Hancock on I'm a Celebrity what was he thinking and what the hell are ITV thinking. Ant and Dec, this reflects so badly on your brand. No respect to grieving families. Shame on you all."
Charles Hanson said: "Personally I think Matt Hancock should resign from I'm A Celebrity and give the £400k to the NHS. ITV and Ant and Dec have misjudged our pandemic hangover mood and what we have all suffered, (many with with lost loved ones). Mr Hancock should be back at work and held to account."
Gavin Callaghan added: "Matt Hancock sent thousands of elderly people to their death in care homes at the start of the pandemic, despite knowing the dangers. If I lost family members because of his decisions, I’d find this #ImACeleb hysteria really difficult. I think @antanddecmay have got this wrong."
Mr Hancock got a grilling from his fellow campmates when he arrived. Journalist Charlene White pulled him aside to ask him why he was there while Parliament was still sitting.
She told The Bush Telegraph: "This is going to make this so difficult for me. I can only imagine the reaction back home. I can imagine it hasn't gone down well."
Sitting down with the politician, she asked him why he wanted to do the show and he replied: “Because there’s, honest truth, is because there’s so few ways in which politicians can show that we’re human beings, so I just thought it would be good to do that. I’ve got a sense of adventure.
"If I can use this to sort of peel myself back a bit and just be me, it’s better,” Matt added before Charlene replied: “But I can imagine it would not have gone down well at all at home? You have to expect that. Because Parliament is still sitting, we’re not in recess, you know…”
Matt said: “I genuinely think that because we’ve now got sort of stability that is," and Charlene stated: “We’ve had stability for all of five minutes Matt.” He replied: “Rishi’s great, he’ll be fine.”
Comedian Mark Steel had some advice for the presenters, saying: "When Matt Hancock has to stick his head into a tank of poisonous ants. Ant and Dec should tell him he can’t have a mask like everyone else as they’ve run out of protective equipment. So he’ll have to make do with a bin liner."
The new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here airs every night at 9pm on ITV1 and ITV Hub.
