I'm A Celebrity viewers have taken to social media to issue a warning to Chris Moyles after he was caught laughing at Matt Hancock being stung by a scorpion.
The Leeds radio DJ and Boy George both came in for some stick after Matt Hancock was voted to be leader of the campmates.
And moments after the decision was announced, Ant and Dec joined in on mocking Matt, pulling out a fresh lettuce.
The pair told viewers: "A Tory leader has been announced. There's only one thing to do", and they pulled out a lettuce and said "we'll see which one lasts longer!"
The Leeds DJ was seen talking about Matt Hancock as leader behind his back, about the situation, angering some viewers on social media who said Moyles should be the next one up for a bushtucker trial. Others said that Moyles' smug behaviour is becoming too much and he should be the first to leave camp.
@Faizal said: " #ImACeleb I'm at the point of finding Chris Moyles unbearable, he's so smug.
@Rodabe said: "Still can't stand Chris Moyles. #ImACeleb"
@Zeus tweeted: "Chris Moyles is another scumbag! #ImACeleb"
Some people were starting to express quite colourful opinions on Chris. One person said that Chris is worse than controversial camp mate Matt Hancock, who has faced criticism for even being in the competition following his handling of the Coronavirus pandemic.
@Kirst said: "Imagine being in the jungle with Matt Hancock and realising he’s not the most insufferable p***k there when Chris Moyles exists. #ImACeleb"
@Tina said: "#ImACeleb You’ll be laughing on the other side of your face when it’s your turn to do the trial Moyles. And when you find out how unpopular you are."
@Nikhil said: "Chris Moyles to face bushtucker trials from here on in, such a t***t."
During tonight's episode, Chris was given the task of announcing the 2022 camp leader. Putting on a questionable geordie accent he said: "Celebrities the public have been voting on who will be the first leader of the camp."
Matt Hancock was then elected leader of the camp, much to the disbelief of fellow celebs Boy George and Chris Moyles in particular.
As Matt set out the rules for the camp, Jill then piped up to ask: "Just to be clear, are these guidelines or rules?"
And viewers all had something to say, with Chris Moyles coming in for a lot of stick, as well as Boy George.
@man18united said: "The only people coming out of tonights show good for me are Owen, Jill, Baba and even Matt (I know). Sue, BG, Chris and Mike all need bringing down a peg or two."
@carthedon said: "Matt Hancock reclining in his chair with a smug grin, now that’s the Tory t*** we all know and hate."
@samjsharp said: "Boy George is absolutely unbearable. Grow up mate"
@chloedigweed said: "Boy George finding any excuse to be pissed with Matt Hancock. Fuming he’s sat in the chair that he has to sit in as if he wouldn’t be exactly the same if it was him"
@nerradselims91 said: "I'm actually warming up to Hancock, but also starting to dislike Boy George and Chris Moyles"
@popculture100 said: "Chris Moyles is salty.. its hillarious seeing him being invisible and hating it"
@markg80 said: "Chris moyles coming across as a right p***k..full of all the back stabbing and snide comments but says knack all to anyone's face."
@hopkinsnot said: "Matt has won loads of meals for the camp. Yet all Boy George and Chris Moyles can do is whinge and bitch about him"
Despite calls for Chris to take on the next bushtucker trial, it was indeed Matt Hancock again.
