Viewers watching ITV's I'm A Celebrity... South Africa on Wednesday (May 2) were left 'gasping' for air after Carol Vorderman took on the underwater trial, and she was not alone. The Bristol star received support from her fans during the 'horrible' trial called 'Tanks of Torment', leaving some even holding their breath.
Carol chose fellow campmate Fatima Whitbread to accompany her in the challenge, which viewers praised. In Wednesday's episode of the popular series, Carol had to swim through four tanks to collect stars for camp, however she could only move through the doors when Fatima separated them by cranking handles situated at the front of the tanks.
Viewers flooded social media during the trial to say that they wouldn't be able to do it, while also rooting for Carol to complete the four tanks.Carol managed to bag seven stars, however was left emotional following the trial due to having a fear of "drowning."
