Comedian Seann Walsh has become the latest campmate to leave the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! jungle. But people online seem more interested in who'll make it to the final three of the ITV show, with Matt Hancock polarising opinion as usual.
It was revealed by Ant and Dec on Friday night's show that jungle latecomer Seann received fewer public votes than fellow campmates Hancock and Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner, ex-rugby player Mike Tindall and England footballer Jill Scott. The conversation online then immediately turned to who out of those remaining celebrities would make it to the show's final three.
Not for the first time this series, the former health secretary dominated online debate on Twitter. Some were quick to encourage other viewers to ensure he didn't progress any further on the show as _jack_wilson_ posted an image of Jill, Owen and Mike and wrote: "Can the British public make sure this is final 3 tomorrow".
Another, using the name sezz_p, fumed: "I'm done with #ImACelebrity. If the type of people who watch it are people who support @MattHancock then I don't ever want to be associated with it again. Good luck to Jill and Mike!"
Others leaped to the politician's defence, however, arguing that he'd given a good account of himself in the jungle. Homebythesea4 wrote: "It’s surprising that people actually believe that the show is rigged because Matt Hancock is in the final four. I hope he wins."
The user said the MP had "done everything asked of him" without complaint. They added: "He’s won lots of stars and has cooked many meals."
Meanwhile, others appeared to watch on with amusement at the fury Hancock's presence on the ITV show was generating among some people. Another commenter, using the name seanthomas2810, observed after the vote: "Funny watching all the Matt Hancock haters going all Donald Trump and demanding a recount"
- Who would you like to see make it into I'm A Celebrity's final three? Has Matt Hancock done enough to win the show or should he never have been asked to do it in the first place? Let us know what you think in the comments section.
