Olivia Attwood has broken her silence following her shock I'm a Celebrity....Get Me Out of Here! exit.
The reality TV star, 31, had been tipped to do well on the ITV series, as she became the first ever former Love Island star to appear on the show, but was forced to head home early due to medical reasons.
Now, a spokesperson on behalf Olivia has posted a statement on her Instagram story, which began with: "To say Olivia it heartbroken would be an understatement."
It added: "She dreamed of doing 'I'm A Celeb' for years and was absolutely loving every second of the show and throwing herself into jungle life feet first (just as we knew she would)."
"However, for reasons beyond her control her journey has been cut short," the statement explained. "Your support and kind words have meant the absolute world to her, now as much as it always has.
"You will hear the truth from Olivia in due course and she will be back on your screens in the New Year.
"Ps. Who's going to roast Matt Hancock now?!"
As it was announced the former TOWIE star had left the celebrity camp, Olivia was snapped walking through an Australian airport alone as she prepared to fly back to England – with her fiancé Bradley Dack revealing he was yet to speak to his partner about her early exit.
A show spokesperson told The Mirror: "As a precautionary measure Olivia needed to leave the jungle to undergo medical checks.
"Unfortunately, the medical team has advised that it is not safe for Olivia to return to camp as there needs to be further investigation.
"She has been absolutely brilliant and she'll be very much missed on the show."
Shortly after it was revealed Olivia was on her way home, her fiance Bradley told the MailOnline: "She'll be gutted. I think she's fine, but I haven't spoken to her.
"I'm really not sure what's happened. I just saw it in the news, like anyone else. I'm waiting for a call," the Blackburn Rovers player added, after explaining he found out about her exit the same way everyone else did and was yet to speak with Olivia.
Olivia's early exit from the ITV show comes as a teaser for tonight's episode is released, which sees the star take on a Bushtucker Trial before leaving the camp and heading home.
In the preview Chris Moyles, Boy George, Scarlette Douglas and Olivia can be seen taking part in HMS Drown Under as they try to win some all important stars and secure some hearty meals for the celebrity campsite.
"Turn on the taps," Declan Donnelly declares as he and co-host Ant McPartlin watch on as Chris and Boy George are seen lying in a dark, small space before being hit with some super cold water.
As Olivia and Scarlette grapple with some creepy crawlies in a bid to turn the taps on, Chris yells "you could have warmed it up as bit" as the cold water hit him and Boy George.
The trial comes following the celebrities being told who had been voted to become Jungle VIPs, before cruel twist was revealed.
"I am equal parts flattered and unnerved the public voted for me to be a VIP… I’m guessing they know more of what that entails than I do. I’m hoping it will be a nice thing but I have a feeling it might not be," Olivia admitted as she was announced as a VIP.
The savvy star was right to be worried, as Ant and Dec went on to explain how the acronym actually stood for very isolated person
Olivia was the first female celebrity officially confirmed for this year's series of I'm A Celebrity, with the reality TV star snapped arriving at Brisbane Airport shortly after Chris Moyles' arrival Down Under last month.
Speaking as she landed in Australia, the former TOWIE star admitted she would miss her footballer fiancé Bradley during her time in the jungle, and confessed her worries about how her other campmates would tolerate her.
"I am scared of me, in terms of how long the other campmates can tolerate me. I will get myself in trouble somehow, the usual," she confessed at the airport before beginning her short I'm A Celebrity stint.
Olivia's brief time in the jungle isn't her only venture on reality TV over the years, with the star making a name for herself as one of the most recognisable faces from the popular dating series Love Island after her time in the Majorcan villa in series three.
She was paired with Chris Hughes, 29, in the third season, but the pair's explosive coupling wasn't to be.
Olivia has since featured on another reality TV show, TOWIE, and hosted her own documentary titled Getting Filthy Rich, which focused on the sex industry.
