Hey guys, I'm back again for my second column on all things I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! and a lot has happened in a week!
I think the mood in camp has had a shift. People seem to be getting slightly more annoyed, especially Boy George and Chris Moyles, and I think this is down to this year's series becoming "The Matt Hancock show".
In my experience, week 2 becomes a lot harder, as a lack of food and sleep alongside missing loved ones starts to take its toll.
If you aren’t all united, cracks begin to appear - I can see this happening with this camp this year.
So far Mr Hancock has done a good job in bringing home stars so I’m glad that the public have decided to let someone else have a go at the Bushtucker Trials.
I think the campmates will be getting annoyed about the fact Mr Hancock is getting all the airtime, you see some little digs when he’s voted, and some people are seeming to pretend they are happy they haven’t been voted for it.
But it can get so boring at times that you can be begging for a trial just so you can have a change of scenery.
I would like to see more of Mike Tindall - he’s such a nice bloke. He’s kinda quiet and he’s definitely not in there to fight for airtime, which is lovely to see. I think he’s super interesting.
I think the trials that stand out for me are the eating challenges. I never got chance to do one and I was gutted as that’s an experience you will never really get again.
But also everyone wants to make it to the final to do the cyclone and it was so fun.
I think doing the challenges is what makes it the experience it is and this year everyone is missing out on that.
I think Mr Hancock being leader might ruffle some feathers but that’s what we all want to see, right?
Hopefully he runs the camp better than he did the lockdown. I do think the camp are warming to him but I still think he has work to do with Boy George, Chris and Sue Cleaver.
However, he definitely has an ally in Seann Walsh and it’s nice to see him having his own opinion and sticking up for Mr Hancock if need be.
I predict some arguments taking place over the next few days, especially between Boy George and anyone who gets on his wrong side.
It can be very awkward in camp when people argue and you often need a mediator, which in this case I think will be Seann.
He’s a funny guy who seems kind of chilled, but he came in with Mr Hancock so I can see him having his back.
I want to see more Jill Scott, she’s still my winner - so normal and lovely.
Let’s see how the next week pans out and I’ll be back with more next week.
