I'm A Celebrity's first eviction date 'sealed' - and fans don't have long to wait

The first public eviction for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! appears to have been confirmed online.

Viewers have been glued to their screens for just over a week, watching the likes of Matt Hancock, Charlene White, Jill Scott and even Royal Mike Tindall getting their hands dirty.

But it could all be over for one of the 12 campers with sources claiming that the campers will soon find out their fate following a public vote.

A social media post has claimed viewers may see a campmate evicted from the Australian jungle in just over 24 hours.

Politicalite claimed: "Brits will get to EVICT campmate from I’m A Celeb on FRIDAY night.

"Telly bosses told Politicalite that they are planning to air an extended 90-minute show on Friday which could feature an eviction."

The gossip site continued: "IAC sources added that they think Tory MP Matt Hancock will be the first to leave I'm A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! after the public voted for him to take part in his sixth Bushtucker trial on Sunday."

It comes after the former Health Secretary recently received a break from the infamous Bushtucker Trials, having completed six in a row after being voted to take them on.

Instead, former Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles was left facing his worst fears as he battled to win a series of stars to feed the camp.

However, the broadcaster was furious when it emerged he had only managed to secure one star, meaning he had just one meal for his fellow celebrities.

"I'm going, to be honest with you, it all went t**s up," he fumed.

Upon returning to camp, he explained to his fellow stars that he was "really sorry" and that he was embarrassed by the situation.

But during Thursday's episode, Hancock, Sue Cleaver and Jill Scott managed to escape the jungle for some time away on a luxury beach.

Each of the celebs won balls which gave them the chance to win the day out, with Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner narrowly missing out on the surprise.

Ahead of the trip in the Bush Telegraph, Mike Tindall admitted: "On a beach, BBQ, surf and turf… sounds absolutely amazing."

Sue had chosen to put Owen's ball in the draw ahead of her own but still managed to win the prize.

The three contestants were taken by helicopter away from the jungle.
