I'm a Celebrity's Chris Moyles admits stealing food while in camp

Chris Moyles has caused quite the stir since leaving the I'm a Celebrity camp less than 24 hours ago.

The DJ and radio presenter was the sixth celeb to leave the jungle after receiving the fewest public votes on Thursday (November 24). He has narrowly missed out on a spot in the final as the five remaining stars Lioness Jill Scott, Hollyoaks' Owen Warner, comedian Seann Walsh, former rugby player Mike Tindall and MP Matt Hancock battle it out to be crowned king or queen of the series.

Despite viewers hearing Moyles say he was "ready to leave" in Thursday night's episode, in his post-exit interview he admitted to hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly that he would have liked to stay, the MEN reports.

Since his exit, Chris has spoken to his Radio X colleagues in his first in-depth interview, revealing everything from what he really thinks of Matt Hancock to behind the scenes secrets.

He said: "As a campmate he did an amazing job. And as a guy he lives in a different world to you and me. But, he's a human being.

"There's Matt Hancock, who I have issues with, and there's Matt who I was in the jungle with and I know that sounds almost like an excuse, but it was the only way that myself and others could deal with that fact."

The 48-year-old then went on to discuss stealing biscuits while in camp. He said: "I can give you some exclusives. We all made it a mission to steal whatever we possible could from the trials and challenges and bring it back to camp. We've stolen chalk, a pen, a list of health and safety guidelines.

"When I did the trial with Owen yesterday with the crane, I managed to steal two and a half packets of biscuits. So I did that entire trial with biscuits in my pocket. When I got back to camp I managed to find a rice packet that was empty, put the biscuits in and break them all in half, then hide them in the toilet.

"Then I tried to quietly tell everybody they needed to go to the toilet because I'd 'cleaned the seat'. Three of the campmates managed half a biscuit before one of the 72 cameras they have there worked out exactly what I was doing and then the biscuits disappeared.

"You can't really get away with anything."
