Matt Hancock is said to have been left 'yelping' in pain over reports that he was bitten by a scorpion. According to reports, I'm a Celebrity medics had to rush into camp to help the former Health Secretary.
The incident was said to have happened just after breakfast on Sunday, November 13. The MP is thought to have been bitten unexpectedly on the finger. "Matt didn't see the scorpion until it was too late and it bit his finger," a source said, reports the Mirror Online.
"He felt a lot of pain and made a yelping noise, but, thankfully for him, there was no lasting damage. Medics checked him over and gave him a clean bill of health but the whole camp is now watching out for them.
"Matt was saying afterwards it felt twice as painful as a bee sting." The aftermath of the incident has now left the rest of the camp on edge, according to the source, reports Coventry Live.
News about the incident comes as some fans have pleaded for others to be given a chance to take part in the Bushtucker trials. The MP has taken part in every trial since his arrival in camp and it has led to people saying other celebrities deserve a chance.
