It's almost time for I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! to return to our screens once again.
The long-running ITV series will film in Australia for the first time since 2019 later this year, following the show having to tweak its format and relocate to Wale's Gwrych Castle the last two years due to Covid-19 restrictions – with Danny Miller crowned the first ever King of the Castle last year following Giovanna Fletcher's victory in 2020.
Since hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly confirmed the 22nd series of the reality TV series will take place Down Under, rumours have been rife about which famous faces are currently preparing themselves for a stint in the jungle – with even former Health Secretary Matt Hancock touted as a surprising possibility.
Chris Moyles
The Mirror has exclusively revaled the self-described 'Saviour of Radio One' Chris Moyles has finally signed up to appear on the ITV show – just one year on from explaining why he would have a terrible time in the jungle.
Speaking to former contestant Vernon Kay in 2021, Chris confessed his fear of heights would be a problem for him if he ever did decide to enjoy a stay in the famous campsite.
It seems Chris has conquered his fears, as the Radio X Breakfast presenter has allegedly finally signed on the dotted line and agreed to go on the show - much to the delight of hosts Ant and Dec, who have been trying to get the star in the jungle for years.
"He would be really funny, he’d probably win," Dec previously mused when discussing the possibility of seeing Chris in the famous red camp outfit.
"And he’s lost so much weight, even the lack of food wouldn’t bother him." Ant added: "The thing is eventually they all say yes. We just wear them down."
Boy George
Singer Boy George is reportedly set to become the highest paid contestant in I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! history, as ITV offer the Karma Chameleon hitmaker, 61, an eye-watering cheque to appear on the show.
An ITV source reportedly told how the latest signing to the new series, which will take place in Australia for the first time since 2019, is "beyond exciting" for the channel- adding how bosses also have "no doubt" Boy George will "draw in viewers" as he's a global superstar.
Culture Club star Boy George is also said to be "hugely popular" in Australia, which makes him the "perfect addition" as the show heads back Down Under.
"He has also been secured the highest pay check in the history of the show – close to £900,000," the source added when speaking to the MailOnline, "He’s a national treasure and we have no doubt viewers will make him king of jungle."
Seann Walsh
Seann Walsh's last stint on reality TV hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons back in 2018, after he was caught sharing a kiss with his then-married Strictly Come Dancing partner Katya Jones.
The comedian was also in a long-term relationship with actress Rebecca Humphries, who he lived with at the time, while Katya was married to fellow Strictly professional dance Neil Jones at the time of the infamous kiss.
Seann's career suffered following the scandal but four years on the extra-marital kiss could turn out to boost his bank balance, as the stand-up comedian is apparently set for a lucrative stint on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
ITV bosses reportedly hope that the funnyman could open up during the long days in camp when the show returns to the Australian rainforest for the first time in three years.
A source told The Sun: "Seann is an incredible signing for I'm A Celebrity and it’s a real coup for ITV. His snog with Katya is the biggest scandal to have ever hit Strictly. People still talk about it.
"Life in the jungle is boring and those long hours around the campfire would be the perfect time for Seann to get talking. He can’t shy away from it either as he’s best known for that snog. It’s unlikely his campmates won’t bring it up."
Olivia Attwood
Olivia Attwood is set to make I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! as the first ever Love Island contestant to camp in the Australian jungle - breaking the previous ban on Islanders entering the hit jungle-based show.
The reality TV star, 31, became one of the most recognisable faces from the popular dating series after her time in the Majorcan villa in series three. She was paired with Chris Hughes, 29, in the third season, but the pair's explosive coupling wasn't to be.
She has since featured on TOWIE and hosted her own documentary titled Getting Filthy Rich, which focused on the sex industry.
Olivia has previously admitted she would be keen to try her luck on the show and has taken part in mock trials on the show's spin off. In it, she successfully devoured fish eyeballs and animal testicles to impress viewers.
Danny Dyer
Following his pending departure from EastEnders, Danny Dyer is free to pursue other ventures - with many suspecting the soap star could be set to try his luck trying to become the new King of the Jungle.
Way back in February this year, sources claimed the hardman actor had been offer big bucks to following in his daughter's footsteps and appear on a reality TV show, telling The Sun: "Producers think Danny would be great on the series and is their number one target. They’re hoping he’ll be finished [filming EastEnders] in time, they’d definitely be up for a big money offer."
If Dani Dyer's famous dad does agree to head Down Under, he's certain to be the bookmakers favourite to reach the final.
Charlene White
Loose Women star and ITV News presenter Charlene White has reportedly signed up for the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! joining a growing list of stars expected to join the jungle.
The TV star is said to be joining the likes of Chris Moyles, 48, and Boy George, 61, on the next series of the ITV show, which is expected to return to our screens in the coming weeks.
Charlene, 42 – who fronts ITV News alongside Loose Women – will be flying out to Australia later this month for a stint in the jungle, it has been claimed.
Her rumoured involvement would see her follow in the footsteps of Loose Women co-stars including Linda Robson, 64, and Frankie Bridge, 33 – who took part in last year's series set in Wales.
Matt Hancock
Since leaving the world of politics following a string of scandals and failings, Matt Hancock is reportedly keen to try his luck in the world of reality TV.
Alongside possible stints on Celebrity SAS and Dancing on Ice, it's been reported the disgraced politician is a possible contender for this year's series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
The former Health Secretary is set to publish his diaries in October this year following his return to the back benches of parliament in June 2021, meaning an appearance on the ITV show around the same time would be great publicity for his tell-all memoir.
Matt is still technically a working MP which means he may struggle to get time off to fly out to Australia.
Ryan Moloney
Following Neighbours filming for the final time earlier this year, actor Ryan Moloney has some spare time on his hands.
The star played Jarrod ‘Toadfish’ Rebecchi on the Australian soap from 1995 until the final episode in July, making him free to appear on shows like I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
Ryan has experience with British reality TV, appearing on Celebrity Big Brother in 2013. Speaking about his time on the show with Lorraine Kelly, he said: "We had some lovely people in there, but the interesting thing is shortly into it I watched footage they had shown and edited. I realised I couldn’t be myself in there because they could edit it how they wanted. I have to protect the Neighbours brand."
If he has signed up for the Australian jungle, at least he won't have far to travel this time.
