I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here viewers believe they spotted evidence of a rift among the campmates after ITV aired the final part of the 2022 series in the Coming Out show.
Though all of the celebrity campmates have now departed the Australian jungle, fans of the ITV reality show were treated to one more episode.
The 2022 Coming Out Show followed each celebrity after they were voted out and returned to civilisation in an ITV1 special with hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.
The one-off ITV special combined the best highlights from the explosive 2022 series as well as interviews with the celebrities, including Queen of the Jungle Jill Scott.
As Matt Hancock became the third celebrity to be voted out of the ITV jungle, he returned to the hotel on the Gold Coast with girlfriend Gina Coladangelo.
However, while previous eliminated celebrities were treated to a warm reunion in the hotel lobby with their campmates, ITV viewers noticed that the show skipped over this in Matt’s case.
Taking to Twitter, one asked: “Reckon they skipped Matt's welcoming to the hotel bc no one turned up…?”
A second added: “Not them skipping Matt's hello to everyone at the hotel,” as a third wrote: “Crying cause there was no welcome for Matt.”
Another asked: “Did no one say hi to Matt at the hotel then?” as a fellow viewer added: “The way they cut Matt entering the lobby.”
This comes amid swirling rumours of a feud among this year’s line-up of celebrities, particularly given that a number of stars have failed to follow the West Suffolk MP on social media.
I’m a Celebrity star Charlene White took a swipe at fellow campmate Matt Hancock earlier in the Coming Out show.
The moment came as the Loose Women host Charlene reacted to being the first celebrity booted from the Australian jungle.
The first person the newsreader rang after her elimination was her dad, who commented that he thought former Health Secretary Matt Hancock would have been booted out first.
Taking a dig, Charlene replies: “It turns out I’m less popular than Matt Hancock, dad, who knew?!”
Yet Ant and Dec declared I'm A Celebrity 2022 ‘the best series for years’ and admitted the inclusion of Matt Hancock was ‘interesting’.
Quizzed about Mr Hancock, Dec said: “Well that was an interesting one, wasn't it? Yeah, he did very well in there. Obviously coming third.”
Asked if he was nervous about interviewing him, he added: “It was a bit of a different one, but no, not very nervous because, you know, it was all within the context of the show. So yeah, that was really interesting.”
Ant would not be drawn on his opinions about the West Suffolk MP, who was paid a reported £400,000.
