I'm A Celebrity fans were left confused during last night's show as Charlene White didn't face consequences for 'rule breaking' in the camp.
The ITV News anchor became camp deputy alongside leader Matt Hancock after winning a challenge between the pair and rugby union World Cup winner Mike Tindall and Coronation Street actress Sue Cleaver.
As camp leader and deputy, the former Health Secretary and the Loose Women panelist need to give camp mates chores, with remaining camp mates unable to help in such tasks.
Their new titles also allows the pair to sleep in the 'luxury' RV, which is situated in the sleeping quarters of camp and contains two single beds, duvets and pillows - a little bit of luxury compared to the camp beds and hammocks outside.
However when Charlene stepped inside the RV, she found a Huntsman spider hanging above her bed before a smaller eight-legged creature scurried across her duvet. The 42-year-old then walked out saying: "I can’t do this tonight."
The mum-of-two said she wanted to "sleep in a bed she's familiar with", with Matt sympathising and spending the night on his own inside the RV.
When speaking to the bush telegraph, Charlene said: "My bravery levels are done for today. I really don't want to have to sleep in the RV."
However, viewers were not impressed with Charlene 'breaking the rules' and criticised the hugely popular ITV show for not cracking down on her.
One fan wrote: "Why has Charlene not been punished for not sleeping in the RV??? She breaking the rules?? Or is it it one rule for one and different for the rest??? Come on @imacelebrity this is turning in to a bit of a bore and poor Matt Hancock!!"
Another commented: "There’s never really been enough threat for not following the rules on #ImACeleb. What’s the consequence of Charlene not sleeping in the RV? Nothing."
A third said: "They should force Charlene to sleep in the RV!! What a wasted opportunity for someone else!"
Another added: "Will Charlene / the celebrities be penalised for not sleeping in the RV? I’m sure in previous years they’ve classed things like that as a “rule break” and there’s been some sort of punishment for it? #ImACeleb."
