I'm A Celebrity fans all have the same complaint over Ant and Dec's new series

I'm A Celebrity...South Africa kicked off with a bang on Monday as former contestants joined forced in a brand new camp, with new arrivals joining as the series goes on.

Unlike I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! which usually airs in December, this All Stars series is not live and was filmed last year.

ITV viewers have taken to Twitter to air their disappointment at one key aspect of Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly's series that is missing from the new line-up - fans are unable to vote for their favourite or least favourite celebrity to compete in the trials.

One frustrated viewer tweeted: "The only problem I’m having with #imacelebrity #ImACelebritysouthafrica is we can’t vote for trials."

Another wrote: "@imacelebrity @antanddec I’m not hating on @antanddec cus those guys are legends. Maybe we’re just custom to everything they do being great but this pre recorded #imacelebrity #SouthAfrica is craaaaaaaaaap. #ImACelebSouthAfrica."

"This would be much better if it wasn’t pre recorded and we could vote was super excited for this series but bit pointless when we can’t vote not sure I like it!! #imacelebrity," a third added while a fourth tweeted: "Strange without the public vote #ImACeleb #imacelebrity."

Another shared: "Why do they bother making a half-hearted summer #imacelebrity that’s not even live. Not as fun when u can’t vote the most annoying ones out #ImACeleb."

At the end of Tuesday's episode, Ant and Dec teased the arrival of Myleene Klass, Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo and Andy Whyment.

Reflecting on her first time in the jungle, Myleene revealed in her pre-show interview: "I came out a different person. I learnt in Australia I was a lot stronger than I gave myself credit for. Before I did the show, I was at college, then I worked as a backing singer, then a pop band and then classical work.

"You can lose confidence in yourself and you obsess about what is presented to you as you don’t know any better. I realised I was mentally stronger than I ever imagined myself to be."

Meanwhile, I’m A Celebrity South Africa launched with ITV’s highest week day audience this year, peaking at 4.9million TV viewers and attracting an average of 4.3million TV viewers.

The programme also attracted a 55 percent share of 16 to 34 year olds, which is ITV1’s biggest weeknight 16 to 34 audience.

I'm A Celebrity...South Africa airs on ITV on weekdays at 9pm.
