Bosses at I'm a Celebrity: Get Me Out of Here! are facing unbridled chaos after production has been hit with a coronavirus outbreak - just days before the series finale.
The feature-length final is due to air on Sunday evening (November 27), but ITV bosses are now scrambling to put safety measures in place, reports the Daily Record. ITV have been forced to introduce the mandatory use of face masks, after two crew members tested positive for Covid at the beginning of the week.
Producers have been hard at work ensuring the 2022 final is the biggest and best yet since the coronavirus pandemic halted the show's trajectory. However, they now face concerns following the outbreak of the virus among crew.

An I'm A Celebrity insider has claimed that all hands are on deck to try and salvage the final that ITV spent months preparing for.
The source said: "Everyone is on high alert given it is so close to the end of the series.
“The producers have grand plans to make the final bigger than ever so no one is seen without a mask and there have been loads more people queueing up to get themselves tested on site. The team also closed down the night shift tent which sells snacks and drinks to the crew in order to give it a deep clean.
"Safety is paramount on a show of this scale and bosses are sure that the strict measures they have in place will mean that the final will still go ahead as planned."
I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here returns to air on Friday night at 9:15pm on STV, lasting until 10.20pm.
