I'm A Celebrity bosses 'forced to edit out' Chris Moyles' digs at Ant McPartlin

I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! producers have reportedly been forced to edit out some of Chris Moyles' comments.

The Leeds-born radio DJ is said to have taken several digs at host Ant McPartlin over his troubled past. Ant has previously opened up about his addiction to prescription drugs and alcohol as well as his drink-driving conviction in 2018.

The now 47-year-old was arrested following a car crash in Richmond, London and fined £86,000 - thought to be Britain's highest-ever penalty for drink-driving. According to The Sun, Chris Moyles' sense of humour is now causing a headache for I'm A Celeb producers.

A source said Chris has made several comments about Ant's past which had to be edited out, leaving them with less useable footage.

A source told The Sun: "Everyone knows Chris’ humour can be a bit close to the mark and it’s been no different in camp. There have been some p***take remarks to Ant that have become a problem.

I'm A Celebrity hosts Ant and Dec (ITV)

"Like when Ant and Dec pulled up in the speedboat in the first episode, Chris joked he was surprised they let Ant in anything so fast because he’s known to crash stuff. And there was a big bottle on one of the sets and Chris joked, 'that’s the size of Ant’s vodka bottles at home'... it's all that kind of thing."

Chris, Ant and Dec, have been friends for a long time with the source adding Chris's comments are all coming from "a place of banter".

It comes after Sue Cleaver was the latest celeb to be voted off the show. The Coronation Street actress appeared happy when the results were announced last night.
