I'm A Celeb viewers have same complaint about 'disappointing' Bushtucker Trials

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! viewers have the same complaint about this year's Bushtucker Trials.

Many fans have claimed the trials aren't as challenging as the previous year's trials and wondered where all the budget for them went and said challenges from previous series were more entertaining.

Former Health Secretary Matt Hancock accepted a £400,000 cheque, while Boy George got a whopping £500,000 fee.

Fans even pointed out that some of the trials have been repeated, such as the Boiling Point trial.

One viewer posted: "Is anyone else a bit bored by the same, semi-challenging trials? I'm not suggesting they've been easy so far by any means but in previous series, especially the early ones, there were some trials where it seemed much harder to gain all the stars."

The viewer recalled Ferne McCann in Panic Pitt as well as the 2011 overnight Bed Bugs trial from 2011 as well as many others.

"In fairness the show has been running for a really long time so it can't be easy coming up with new trial ideas every year," the user continued.

"Perhaps it's just me, but I'd like to up the 'challenge' factor a bit and not see so many easy full house wins!"

Other viewers agreed with the fan's post and commented how they 'miss the fun trials they used to do.'

"The dingo dollar challenge just seems to be how they can bore them to death this series," another fan said.

One viewer posted: "Totally agree. I think the trials have been a let down this year."

Earlier this week, viewers wondered why bosses repeated a trial and suggested the channel may be 'running out of ideas'.

Unlike other Bushtucker Trials, Owen Warner - who was taking part - knew exactly what he was letting himself in for as he headed off to take on the Boiling Point trial - thanks to Chris fumbling his way through the very same challenge last week.

"Are they running out of ideas on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here that they are doing the same task that Chris Moyles did a few weeks ago again?! #ImACeleb #ImACelebrity #Imaceleb2022," one wrote on Twitter earlier this evening.

"Recycling trials on I’m a celebrity [unimpressed-face emoji]," another mused, as a third quipped: "So we are no longer voting for the trials, they’re now also recycling the same trial? Ain’t gunna lie I think I’m a celeb is starting to dry up… watched everything series and I legit think it’s starting to dry up."
