I'm A Celeb's Sue Cleaver's tearful reunion with Charlene as they plan girls' night

Sue Cleaver threw her arms around Charlene White as the campmates shared a tearful reunion after leaving I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!

The Coronation Street actress, 59, was the third person to be booted off the show and was driven to the plush JW Marriott Resort & Spa in Australia for some five star luxury after speaking to Ant and Dec.

When Sue arrived at the fancy resort an emotional Charlene, who was the first person to leave the jungle, ran up to her friend and hugged her.

The pair were both in tears as Sue promised they were going on a girls' night very soon.

In her exit interview, the mum-of-two said the first people she was going to catch up with was the Loose Women host and Scarlette Douglas, who left the show on Sunday (Nov 20).

"First person I'll go to dinner with will be Charlene and Scarlette – they're my girls," said Sue.

Both Charlene White and Scarlette Douglas said the first thing they did after leaving the jungle was spend ages washing in the bath and shower to get rid of the smell of smoke.

Charlene had THREE showers before leaving her room to do interviews.

After being told it was either her or Boy George who would be leaving the camp on Monday, Sue whooped and cheered when Dec called her name.

The Geordie presenter joked it was the first time he'd seen anyone so happy to leave the show, with Sue admitting it was her time to go.

"I'd hit a wall, " she confessed. "You just have no control in there, it was my time. You feel very vulnerable, things get to you.

On the weekend, Sue broke down in the RV as she cried on Mike Tindall's shoulder saying she was having a 'down day'.

Addressing the incident, she said: "I had my moment in there, I just had one of those days. I just hit a low, I didn't sleep and then when one thing goes, it's like a domino and one thing can set you off. It's tough in there."

As Ant and Dec asked her to sum up experience, Sue concluded: "I've had the ride of my life, I really have. And I will never forget it, I'm glad it ended there because you don't wanna see angry Sue."

Hopefully Sue's secret suitcase stash will keep her happy as she said one of the first things she's was going to was do was "scoff" some chocolate.

"I've got some Cadbury's Dairy Milk that I packed in my suitcase and brought all the way to Australia and I'm going to scoff it – I'm not going to share it with anyone," she declared.

Sue also revealed she was going to have a cup of Yorkshire tea followed by a light meal like cheese on toast.

When asked who was the first person she was going to call, the actress replied: "I'm going to call my mum to check she's alright. She's looking after George Paws so I'll check she's ok."

Back at the hotel Sue will get to spend time with husband Brian Owen and son Elliot Quinn.

Both were full of praise for her efforts on the show when they spoke last week at Brisbane Airport. At the time Brian said: "I can't wait to see her and to tell her how well she has done."

•I'm A Celebrity continues on Tuesday on ITV at 9pm
