I'm A Celeb's Mike Tindall shares Royal family's surprising Christmas dinner tradition

Mike Tindall has lifted the lid on a surprising Royal family Christmas tradition.

The I'm A Celebrity star has links to the family through his marriage to Zara Tindall. The British equestrian is the daughter of Anne, Princess Royal and 20th in the line of succession to the British throne.

The countdown to Christmas is on and King Charles III is set to host the festivities for the first time this year. Members of the Royal family will enjoy Christmas festivities at Windsor Castle before they enjoy the main celebrations at Sandringham later this week - as Mirror Online reports.

Mike has previously attended the Royal Christmas party and gave an insight into what it looks like on his podcast, The Good, The Bad & The Rugby. Speaking in 2019, he said: "This is the family lunch, there were seven tables so there must have been about 70 of us there."

He added: "I was on Prince Charles's table, it was lovely." The royal children, including Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, are expected to attend the event.

However, Mike surprisingly revealed the children sit in a different room to the adults. He said: "The kiddies have their own little [meal] in a different room."
