After leaving Everton, Jill signed a two-year deal with Manchester City. However, she later returned to the Blues on loan for the remainder of the 2020–21 season.
At home, 35-year-old Jill lives in Manchester with her partner Shelly, who runs a coffee shop called Boxx 2 Boxx. Jill, who retired from professional football during the summer, has given fans a glimpse inside her and Shelly’s modern home and has posted a series of snaps from inside the modern property.
Judging by the photos on her social media, Jill’s home is decorated with fresh interiors throughout and features plenty of bright white walls and grey tones, reports OK. In one post, the football star shared a collage of snaps from inside the property, giving fans a peek of her living room which features two large grey sofas positioned around a built-in TV unit.
Elsewhere, the room has a series of floating white shelves which are decorated with personal photographs and ornaments, and there is a matching grey pouffe positioned in a corner of the room. Adding to the living area’s modern feel, there is also a glass TV unit and a selection of black and white canvases on the wall.
Meanwhile, the kitchen is decorated with a similar theme and is made up of a series of white cabinets all of which have a contrasting black worktop. The room also has space for a dining area, with a white table placed to one side of the room alongside three industrial pendant lights and a large grey clock that is mounted on the wall.
During a birthday celebration thrown for Jill, the couple departed from their neutral colour palette and instead decorated the kitchen area with lots of bright colours, including red and yellow bunting, inflatable cacti and a rainbow pinata. Upstairs, the Lioness player’s room has a feminine feel and features a statement wall made up of grey and baby pink abstract shapes.
At the centre of the room is a large double bed which is decorated with pink sheets as well as a sequin love heart pillow. And rounding off the house, the couple’s entrance area ties together their love for modern interiors and features a white console unit, a quirky mirror tiled and a cosy burnt orange armchair, ideal for getting ready before leaving the house.
