I'm A Celebrity star Gillian McKeith has opened up about her 'near death' escape from a leopard whilst on a safari holiday.
The 63-year-old health guru revealed she "ran for her life" after being chased by the big cat whilst on the safari trip. Gillian was also accompanied by her daughter Skylar and grandson Landon during the scary incident.
The star, who originally starred in I'm A Celebrity back in 2010, said: "I was shaking and picked up the baby and ran into the van."
The wellness fanatic then explained that the trip stayed indoors for five days as "we were too scared" to venture outside.
As part of ITV's All Stars I'm A Celebrity, which has seen stars from past series enter camp in South Africa, Gillian McKeith has returned to the I'm A Celeb camp.
However, the Scottish star's arrival shocked fellow campmates and viewers at home as she revealed she'd smuggled 'contraband' items into camp. Campmate Fatima Whitbread was particularly angered at the rule-breaking move, as she visibly fumed at the forbidden items being sneaked into camp.
Viewers and fellow campmates were shocked at just how much petite Gillian had managed to sneak in.
Revealing her customised "spicy knickers", the Scottish star proudly showed off: "It’s a two-layer set of knickers, with a little pocket at the back. I’ve got six pockets in the first layer of my knickers."
Pulling out the first item, Gillian began her rundown of what she had sneaked in: "Garlic bulb.
"In here I have thyme, rosemary, oregano, basil and tarragon. Miso soup… I’ve got dill weed… about 20 almonds. Seaweed strips, they’re amazing!
"This is tomato and basil soup mix, this is gluten-free soy sauce."
However, it wasn't all so simple, as Gillian explained the intimate way she had snuck in salt. She explained: "Sea salt. It’s inside a condom. Because it was the only way to get it inside…"
Not all campmates were angry though, as former supermodel Janice Dickinson shared her amazement at the skill in the Bush Telegraph. Speaking to the camera she praised her fellow I'm A Celeb star, as she said: "I must say that I was shocked how anyone would come up with this brilliant idea."
