I'm A Celeb hosts Ant and Dec leave Australian crew members fuming with savage swipe

I'm A Celebrity hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly caused quite the stir during Tuesday's instalment of the ITV show.

The Geordie duo appeared to cause havoc on set Down Under after they made a savage swipe as the Fifa World Cup continues in Qatar.

After Ant and Dec welcomed fans back to another night in the jungle, Dec couldn't wait to make a savage swipe at Australia's result in the World Cup after they were beaten 4-1 by France on Tuesday.

"Welcome back to I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here live from Australia 1, France 4. Sorry, was that too soon?," Dec joked as the I'm A Celebrity crew yelled in the background.

"They hate us now," Ant chirped as the Geordie duo continued to get booed by the Aussie crew members.

Meanwhile, viewers flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts as one I'm A Celeb fan tweeted: "Ant and Dec are on FIRE tonight with their jokes."

"Ant and Dec don't know anything about football. Therefore, they should stick to their Matt Hancock jokes," another quipped.

"Lol the crew clearly loved that gag. NOT!!!," someone else tweeted.

While a fourth ITV viewer shared: "It's coming home!!!!! And hopefully, so is Matt Hancock. Never thought I'd say those words."

Ant and Dec's football gag comes as I'm A Celebrity bosses are gearing up for a bumper finale episode (ITV)

Ant and Dec's football gag comes as I'm A Celebrity bosses are gearing up for a bumper finale episode this weekend as the 2022 series comes to a conclusion on Sunday evening.

The episode will see the Geordie hosts crown the King or Queen of the Jungle in an episode set to last a whopping an hour and 40 minutes.

This year's final will air at 9pm on Sunday, November 27 on ITV1 in the UK.

While the episode will not be the longest one of the series, after the first show clocked in at one hour and 45 minutes, it is highly anticipated after a speedy series this year.

Charlene White, Scarlette Douglas, and Sue Cleaver have already departed the jungle this year, with Jill Scott now the only woman left in running for Queen of the Jungle.

Before the grand finale, the remaining three stars will battle it out in the last Bushtucker Trial in order to win a three-course meal for the camp.

Hollyoaks star Owen Warner, England Lioness Jill, and former rugby player Mike Tindall are all favourites to be crowned Queen or King of the Jungle.
