I'm A Celeb fans prepare for 'epic' feud as Mike starts 'revolution' to Hancock leadership

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! fans have suggested a jungle feud could be coming as Matt Hancock was named the camp leader following a round of public voting.

The public had been voting for the camp leader, with the winning two to go head to head in a challenge alongside their deputies.

Mike Tindall and Mr Hancock were announced as the frontrunners and Mr Hancock chose Charlene White to be his deputy, while Mike picked Sue Cleaver, who he called his ‘campmate wife’.

Sue joked she would be ‘pulling the strings behind Mr Tindall’s back’ as Charlene said Mr Hancock could make up for never becoming leader of the Tory party.

As the two potential leaders and their deputies left camp for their head-to-head battle, Boy George admitted: “Ultimately, neither of them will have any power over me. If I don’t want to do something I won’t do it.”

Mr Hancock and Charlene and Mike and Sue arrived at the complicated light challenge, as Mike joked: “If I went home and I’d lost to Matt Hancock, I’d be in so much s***.”

Sue and Mike raced to beat Mr Hancock and Charlene, but ultimately the latter won leaving Sue yelling she was ‘furious’.

Mr Hancock said: “Obviously, it’s a great honour and privilege to be camp leader. I want to thank everybody who voted for me.”

Charlene said: “Does this win feel sweet, especially after you lost to Boris? Do you feel like you have been vindicated?”

Mr Hancock replied: “This more than makes up for it.”

However, Sue labelled the result a ‘dictatorship’ as Mike added: “But there’s always time for revolution.”

I'm A Celebrity viewers at home were left ecstatic at the comments as one took to Twitter to celebrate: "YES THE REVOLUTION HAS STARTED."

Another penned: "Sue n Mike starting a revolution ?? spectacular," as a third wrote: "THEYRE HAVING A REVOLUTION THIS IS EPIC."

Another chimed: "Oh yeah keep Matt in that chair. The revolution is coming. B****ing galore."

Camp leader Hancock and his deputy Charlene then had to assign chores to their campmates, with 10 roles to fill so one celebrity must be allocated to carry out two chores.

The leader and deputy are told they are exempt and cannot assist in chores around camp.

Mr Hancock began to tell the camp who was doing what when Jill interrupted asking: “Just to be clear, are these guidelines or rules?”

He said: “These are rules. This is the law of the jungle, Jill.” Jill laughed: “Just checking.”

Mr Hancock named Scarlette and Owen as camp chefs. On washing up was Jill and Boy George.

Camp water was Chris and Mike. Dunny duty was given to Seann and Sue. Camp maintenance was given to Babatúndé and Mike.

They then had to reveal another message, which said that in addition to being exempt from all chores, the leader and deputy would sleep in the plush RV as opposed to the main camp.
