I'm A Celeb fans in hysterics at Ant McPartlin's 'sassy' response to Sue Cleaver

Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver was on the receiving end of a "brutal" comment from Ant McPartlin on Saturday night's episode of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.

As former health secretary Matt Hancock and Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner faced their latest jungle challenge in the form of a Who Wants To Be A Millionaire-style trial, Sue was chosen to be their 'phone a friend'.

Before the first question was even asked, Sue pleaded with presenters Ant and Dec "please don't humiliate me on TV", Manchester Evening News reports.

But Ant's response had viewers in stitches, as he brutally clapped back: "Well, don't come on I'm A Celebrity then Sue!"

Fans flocked to Twitter to laugh at Ant's harsh honesty, with one saying: "The sass from Ant and Dec this trial is killing me."

Another wrote: "That's Sue told!" while a third penned: "Anthony McPartlin was no chill with the 'don't come on I'm A Celebrity then' to Sue Cleaver."

The trial saw Sue get soaked in green gunge as she sat on the phone to Owen and Matt. Some thought her brief stint on the Who Wants To Look Silly On Air? trial gave viewers a good glimpse of what she would be like in an actual trial, as Matt Hancock has been voted to do most of them so far.

One said on Twitter: "Voting for Sue tonight as I want to see her do a full trial."

Another agreed, writing: "Sue needs to do a trial Omg! She’s gonna kick off".

But it was revealed that it would be Matt Hancock yet again to take part in the next challenge, which will be the House of Horrors airing on Sunday November 13.
