I'm A Celeb fans change their minds about 'useless' Helen Flanagan

Helen Flanagan has been winning over the nation during her appearance on I'm A Celebrity... South Africa. The former soap star has been getting on very well with Carol Vorderman during her stint on the ITV spin-off series, which is currently airing on our screens.

And she has also impressed viewers with her sudden change in approach when it comes to completing tasks. The former fiancée of Bristol Rovers winger Scott Sinclair was last night faced with taking on the highest trial ever in the history of the programme.

Alongside Amir Khan and Myleene Klass, they had to climb up 'World's End'. Impressively, they managed to retrieve all the stars, with Helen being first to the top.

She later told Ant and Dec: "I just thought, you know what, I can't be the person that comes back and is useless at trials. I need to go back and need to smash it, that was my moment to prove that I can do it. I feel really good about myself."

Fans were quick to take to social media to praise Helen for her efforts. One person wrote: "Helen Flanagan the first to get a star in a heights challenge?!? Has she regenerated into a different woman like the Doctor from Doctor Who?!?.

Another person said: "A fearless Helen Flanagan WHAAAATTT?!?! I feel like a proud parent!!"

While a third posted: "I scoffed at Helen when she went in, but I stand corrected. She’s been amazing," while a fourth wrote: "For someone who's scared of heights, Helen is really bossing the sky-high task! #ImACeleb #ImACelebrity."

"I actually love how amazing Helen is doing this time round! She’s like a completely different person!" another said.
