I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! bosses are said to be going out of their way to remove witty comments made by Chris Moyles from the final edit.
The veteran radio broadcaster is rumoured to have made several comments alluding to Ant's controversial past which includes causing a car crash as well as his battle with alcoholism.
But bosses are reportedly losing their minds due to the amount of footage they have been forced to sift through while producing the final edit for the ITV programme.
Sources explained that while Chris is joking with the male campmates in the jungle, the comments are "causing headaches ".
Speaking to The Sun, a source said: "Everyone knows Chris' humour can be a bit close to the mark and it's been no different in camp.
"But there have been some p***take remarks to Ant that have become a problem, like when Ant and Dec pulled up in the speedboat in the first episode, Chris joked he was surprised they let Ant in anything so fast because he’s known to crash stuff."
They went on to say that there had been a "big bottle" on the set of the show, with Chris commenting that it was similar in size to the bottles of vodka that Ant may have at home.
"Chris is friends with the lads and it's coming from a place of banter but that obviously doesn't help in the edit," the source added.
Ant was previously banned from driving for 20 months back in 2018 and was fined £86,000 after pleading guilty to drink-driving.
The presenter who is a regular on evening TV was double the legal alcohol limit at the time of his arrest after the car smash involved three cars.
He had been driving back from a dog walk with his mum Christine when he veered into the wrong lane while driving around a bend, before crashing into a family sitting in a Mini, before going on to hit a BMW.
Since the incident, he has gone sober as well as having a tattoo of Alcoholics Anonymous inked on his left wrist.
At the time of the crash, he said: "I let a lot of people down, and for that, I am truly sorry.
"I'd like to apologise to everybody involved in the crash and I am just thankful that nobody was seriously hurt in this."
The Mirror has approached ITV for comment.
