I'm A Celeb All Stars first twist exposed as 'SIX bombshell arrivals join as latecomers'

I'm A Celebrity All Stars first twist has reportedly been revealed as the surprise arrival of six new campmates.

The new pre recorded series is set to take place in South Africa, with the return of memorable previous contestants in a bid to become the first I’m A Celebrity Legend.

The All Stars series of I'm A Celeb, which took place in South Africa's Kruger National Park rather than Australia, is set to run in addition to the usual annual ITV programme later this year.

The stars set to appear are Helen Flanagan, 32, Carol Vorderman, 62, Amir Khan, 36, Janice Dickinson, 68, Paul Burrell, 64, Jordan Banjo, 30, Shaun Ryder, 60, Fatima Whitbread, 62, and Phil Tufnell, 56.

Yet The Sun reports Gillian McKeith, 63, Dean Gaffney, 45, Joe Swash, 41, Andy Whyment, 42, Myleene Klass, 45, and Georgia Toffolo, 28, will be arriving in camp as surprise stars.

Ant and Dec continue to host the series, which starts next week on April 24 at 9pm.

The challenges are set to be bigger and tougher and the environment harsher and more unforgiving than the usual Australian jungle.

Boxing champ Amir Khan starred in the 2017 series of the jungle show, and now he's ready to do better in the famous trials.

He said: "I’m a Celeb helped me beat my fear of spiders and snakes and made me tougher. This time I will not be soft on the trials."

Series 16 contestant Carol Vorderman added: "Doing I’m a Celeb changed me and I can’t wait to take part. Our WhatsApp group from 2016 is still going."

Olympian Fatima, who famously got a cockroach stuck up her nose during a trial, said: "I learnt a lot about myself last time. There will be some life-size characters and life-size egos in South Africa too."

When the first line up was announced, fans were quick to notice that names including Joe Swash were not featured, despite it being reported that he and others filmed for the series.

Gillian McKeith, Made in Chelsea's Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo, Hear'Say's Myleene Klass and EastEnders ' Dean Gaffney were all tipped to be taking part, alongside Coronation Street star Andrew Whyment.

Caitlyn Jenner was also supposedly in talks to reappear on the show, but she too did not feature in the final line-up - with it since revealed to The Mirror that she turned the opportunity down.

The Mirror has contacted ITV for comment.
