A woman in her nineties with 10 great-grandchildren has found herself flooded with comments from people who can't believe her real age, and has said one of her biggest secrets to looking youthful is to simply "not worry" so much about getting older.
Joan Richmond-Woodhouse, 92, has built up a following on social media where many commenters tell her she looks at least "30 years younger" than her real age, and has begun posting videos in which she shares some of her tips and tricks for looking as young as she does.
And in a recent clip, Joan - who is known as Grandma Joan online - simply told her 33,000 followers that in order to keep healthy and happy, all you need to do is "stop worrying".
In a video posted to her @joansumner1930 account on TikTok, she said: "In order to keep happy you've got to stop stressing about things. I mean, it's ridiculous! It's no good worrying - it [getting older] happens if you worry, it happens if you don't. So why bother worrying at all, you know what I mean? It's just life."
Commenters were quick to praise Joan for her sentiments, as they said they love her "way of thinking" and said she always knows how to give "great advice".
One person wrote: "You're such a wonderful fabulous lady. And true great advice."
While another added: "I appreciate this mindset so much! I just don't know how to not worry."
And a third posted: "This lady is my inspiration, love her."
Meanwhile, Joan previously told her followers that a positive outlook on life isn't the only thing that keeps her looking youthful, as she does swear by one skincare product that she's used for decades - Nivea cream.
The woman said: "I was born on the 6th of September in 1930. After the war, when I was about 16, Nivea cream had just come out and my friend just came to the house and she said, 'This cream has just come out. Try it, it's brilliant.'
"So I've used Nivea cream for years and years and years. Now everyone I know uses Nivea cream, too."
Nivea products can be found in most supermarkets and pharmacies, and you can pick up the Nivea Refreshingly Soft Moisturising Cream from Boots for just £2.
The most popular Nivea product, the Nivea Creme, costs £5.99 at Boots for a 200ml tub, and can also be found at Superdrug for £4.29, on Ocado for £3.18, and at Amazon for as little as £1.50 - although that price is for a smaller 50ml tub.
And Joan's claim was backed by one of her followers, who commented: "My Mum is 90, everyone thinks she 20 years younger, she also uses Nivea."
