'I love this' - Manchester United fans react as Erik ten Hag makes two big decisions vs Man City

Manchester United fans are delighted that Marcus Rashford has been declared fit enough to start against Manchester City, as well as Anthony Martial being named amongst the substitutes.

United return to Premier League action for the first time in nearly a month as they take on fierce rivals City at the Etihad. Erik ten Hag's side stretched their winning league run to four games last time out with a 3-1 win over Arsenal before the season was curtailed following the death of Queen Elizabeth II and the international break.

Rashford was key to the victory as he scored twice against the Gunners to secure the three points for United. After a difficult couple of years, Rashford has been enjoying a return to form so far this season with three goals and two assists to his name so far.

However, he suffered an ankle injury in the win which saw him miss out on the Europa League fixtures against Real Sociedad and FC Sheriff. It was also feared that he wouldn't be fit enough to face the Blues after not training much with his teammates this week but Ten Hag has named him in his starting XI.

That means Cristiano Ronaldo has once again been consigned to the bench with Rashford being the focal point of the attacking trio, with Jadon Sancho and Antony on his flanks. Fans are delighted that Rashford has returned and are also pleased to see Martial return to the bench.

The Frenchman has seen just 45 minutes of action this season due to a troublesome Achilles injury but could make his return during the derby.

Manchester United starting XI vs City: De Gea; Dalot, Varane, Martinez, Malacia; McTominay, Eriksen, Fernandes; Antony, Rashford, Sancho.

Substitutes: Heaton, Lindelof, Ronaldo, Martial, Fred, Casemiro, Shaw, Pellistri, Elanga.
