Whatever is actually going on between the Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets regarding trade talk concerning star forwards Jaylen Brown and Kevin Durant, it’s clear that star Boston swingman Jayson Tatum is happy focusing on the season to come with the players he has with him on the team now.
The New York Post’s Jared Schwartz recently tweeted a video of Tatum at the Midnight Theater in midtown Manhattan for the Point Gods premiere, airing on Showtime on July 29 in which the St. Louis native was asked his opinion on the reported trade talks. “I just play basketball,” said Tatum, deferring to the front office. “I played with (Durant) in the Olympics, he’s a great player,” he added.
“But, that’s not my decision,” he elaborated in a show of support for his current teammates including presumably Brown. “I love our team, I love the guys that we got.”

“I love our team,” emphasized the Duke product. “I just go out there and play with my teammates, I don’t put that (GM) hat on”
“I don’t believe everything I see on TV; I just see some (expletive) about me that was a lie; you never really know what is true and what is not true,” he would add.
