'I identify as a cat - this is what it's like to date a human'

An American woman who identifies as a cat has opened up about what it's really like to date a human.

Abigail and Adam, from Greenville, North Carolina, met on an online dating site and while Abigail is asexual and not sexually attracted to Adam, she enjoys having him take care of her. The couple both love all things feline with Adam, 28, enjoying being a cat caregiver while Abigail, 23, identifies as a kitten, reports Bristol Live.

Adam said of their first meeting: "When she first walked into the room I was kind of star-struck, I was like 'oh wow, she's gorgeous." Abigail said she is "pretty much a kitten 24/7" and even wears her cat ears to work.
