'I hope it makes people smile': how a stunning mural has captivated a Belco neighbourhood

A new mural on a house in Belconnen of singers Nick Cave and Kylie Minogue has captivated the neighbourhood, with the home owner hoping it becomes a local landmark.

Canberra artist Lawrence Tan painted the mural, which is from a real-life photo shoot of the famous singers in 1996 by legendary photographer Tony Mott backstage at the Big Day Out in Melbourne.
