Comfortable pyjamas in the summer are a must, because there's nothing worse than feeling too hot in the night.
I practically live in pyjamas, and always find that M&S have so much to offer for pretty reasonable prices. This time of year can be especially uncomfortable at night if you don't have the right pair of pyjamas, but luckily, M&S have come through once again.
I took a trip to M&S on Church Street and was impressed with the amount of cooler, summer pyjamas on offer. I was after something soft and cool, that wasn't too plain, and that's when I saw the Pure Cotton Striped Shortie Set priced at £25.

On the M&S website, the full product description reads: "Give your nightwear a summertime refresh with these colourful striped pyjamas, made from breathable pure cotton. Comfy regular fit, comprising a long-sleeved, revere collar shirt and a pair of elasticated bottoms. Finely woven cambric fabric gives this set a breezy, lightweight feel. The pyjamas
These are definitely my favourite summer pyjamas by far - for a few reasons. The elasticated bottoms are incredibly comfortable, and offer support without being too stiff.
Sometimes I find that pyjama bottoms can be either too flimsy or too thick, but these M&S pyjamas are the perfect. I went for a size 12 which fit me well, and if anything were a tiny bit loose, which I do actually prefer with my pjs.
The collared detail on the pyjama top adds a nice touch, and I also really like the pocket detail. I thought that the elbow length sleeves were just right, and super comfortable in bed at night.
My favourite thing by far about these pyjamas, though, is the super soft material. My biggest pet peeve is pyjamas that itch, but these ones felt so light and fluffy.
The pyjamas wash really well, but be warned, they do crease (as you can see in the photo) but that doesn't bother me too much. I absolutely love the yellow and peach striped detail, which add a pretty efffect without being too garish.
The verdict
I've worn these pyjamas a lot since purchasing them, and I'm always blown away by soft they are every time I put them on. Not once have I felt uncomfortable or too hot in the night when wearing them, which is rare for a restless person like me.
M&S pyjamas never fail to impress me, and I'd rather spend a little bit more on something to wear in bed that I know is going to be comfortable. There are so many different patterns and styles to choose from online and in-store, and I'm already thinking about my next pair.
