'I felt my vision go blurry....days later I was told I had a serious condition'

A mum didn't realise she had suffered a stroke while sitting down for Christmas dinner with her family until three days later.

Casey Singleton, 22, felt her vision blur as though she was about to fall off her chair at her home in Blackpool on Christmas day. At first she had put the symptoms down to the after-effects of another stroke she had suffered days before her 22nd birthday, just a month prior.

But the mum-of-two soon realised something serious had happened when she visited a physio days later and was told to see a doctor immediately. On the evening of November 20, Casey was feeling tired and tried to take herself up to bed, following her partner who had brought their two young children upstairs.
