Danny Mills believes two big defeats in Leeds United's three matches leading up to the World Cup could spell the end of Jesse Marsch. Marsch is coming under increasing pressure from supporters after Leeds' winless run extended to eight in Sunday's 3-2 defeat to Fulham.
The Whites now have just three matches remaining in the Premier League before the season takes a six-week break for the World Cup in Qatar. But Leeds do not have it easy until then as a home clash with Bournemouth is sandwiched between trips to both Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
Speaking on talkSPORT, ex-Leeds defender Mills gave his opinion on where he thinks it has gone wrong for Marsch, and believes he may not have much longer in charge if results are poor in the next couple of weeks.

He said: "I think that they are starting to struggle a little bit. I said early on they had to start well, with all those new signings for Jesse Marsch, and still a bit of a hangover from the Bielsa days. They had to start the season well and get going, which they did to be fair, they started really well with a couple of good results early on.
"It has fallen away a little bit, I don't think with the results and sometimes some of the antics from Jesse Marsch on the sidelines, I don't think that has enamoured into the fans at time either. He's maybe overplayed to the crowd a little bit.
"But most importantly it comes down to results, they played well against Arsenal but couldn't score, couldn't put the ball in the back of the net. Patrick Bamford I don't think has scored in 2022, he's struggling to hit the back of the net. With the four games they've got coming up, real tough run in before the break for the World Cup.
"The worry would be if you lose a couple of those heavily, you're talking about Liverpool, they'll be sore after their loss at the weekend. One or two big losses, you do start to fear for him. It doesn't matter what the board say that they're backing him, two big losses and I would fear for him."
