Manchester United favourite Patrice Evra has hit back at Man City boss Pep Guardiola by suggesting he only ever won the Champions League because he had Lionel Messi. It is the latest jibe in a war of words between the former United left-back and the City manager which has been brewing for the last couple of weeks.
Evra hammered Guardiola for not wanting 'personalities' in his side following City's collapse in the Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid. His comments drew a brutal response from Guardiola who referenced the personality he had seen at City and suggested Evra had been lacking from such characteristics himself when Barcelona 'destroyed' United in the 2011 Champions League final.
Now the former United defender has hit back once again by suggesting Guardiola is not 'a great person.'
